Nutty Chocolate Granola

They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day but no one said it needs to be dull. Put some luxury to your day with this delicious granola. The taste is similar to a cookie crumble. If you love chocolate, this recipe is perfect for you.

1 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup hazelnuts
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup honey
1/4 coconut oil
1 1/2 tsp. cocoa powder
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 pinch of salt


  1. Start by preheating the oven to 160 degrees
  2. Prepare a pot with water on the stove and place a heat-prof bowl on top. Add the oil, peanut butter and honey to the bowl. Let the mixture melt together well then add the vanilla extract. This can also be done in a microwave on low temperature
  3. In a separate bowl combine together oats, cacao powder, salt and chopped hazelnuts
  4. Pour the wet mixture in the bowl with dry ingredients. Combine it all until you get a sticky consistency and chunky pieces
  5. Place a baking paper on a oven try. Spreed out the mixture evenly on the dress try and place in the oven
  6. Place in the oven and let it bake for around 20-30 min. Turn the granola every 10 min so it get evenly roasted
  7. Once you got a crisp you´re satisfy with, take it out and let it cool off before placing it in a glass jar/container
  8. Serve with nut milk or coconut yogurt topped with fresh berries
